  $194 - 2^nd set of plates ($95 title fee + $99 registration fee)

  No Fee - 1^st set of plates
  $99 - 2^nd set of plates
• Current plates expire within 90 days
  $29 - 1^st set of plates ($29 replacement fee)
  $128 - 2^nd set of plates ($99 registration fee + $29 replacement fee)
• Current plates do not expire within 90 days
  $29 - 1^st set of plates ($29 replacement fee)
  $29 - 2^nd set of plates ($29 replacement fee)
• Annual renewal
  No Fee - 1^st set of plates

To Apply

• One must provide a form from the federal government or a letter from the Department of Veterans' Affairs verifying that the applicant received the medal.

Availability

• Congressional Medal of Honor license plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles, trucks and vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less and sport utility vehicles.
• The surviving spouse of a person awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor may obtain and/or retain these plates.
• Not available as Vanity or Personalized
• Not eligible for Circuit Breaker

• The no fee Congressional of Medal of Honor license plates must be renewed in Springfield. Apply in person or mail the proper documentation to:

• Only the second set of Congressional Medal of Honor license plates can be renewed online, by mail, touch-tone phone, or visit a Driver Services facility.
