The IRAD facility at Eastern Illinois University is located on the first level of Booth Library on the main campus. Booth Library is located in the middle of campus on Garfield Street between Fourth and Seventh Streets. IRAD at Eastern Illinois University is housed with the University Archives and is located near the south entrance to Booth Library.

Metered visitor parking is available near the University Union located just off Seventh Street and in X Lot which is located east of Seventh Street between Johnson and Grant Streets. Guest parking permits may also be obtained at the University Police Department on the corner of Seventh and Grant Streets which can be used in any university parking lot. The south entrance of Booth Library is accessible by disabled patrons.
